Cancellation & Renewal Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains how subscription renewals, cancellations, plan changes, and one-off orders work. It applies to SpoofSentry and other Netallion services.

2. Subscriptions auto-renew

All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing term (monthly or annual) unless you cancel before renewal.

3. Monthly subscriptions (self-serve)

Cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future renewals and your subscription remains active until the end of your current paid monthly term.

Renewal cut-off: To avoid being charged for the next monthly term, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date/time shown in your Billing page.

4. Annual subscriptions (self-serve)

Cancel anytime. Annual subscriptions remain active until the end of the current annual term.

Non-renewal notice: To prevent renewal for the next annual term, you must cancel at least 30 days before your annual renewal date. If you cancel within 30 days of renewal, the cancellation will take effect at the end of the next annual term.

5. Enterprise / MSSP subscriptions (contracted)

Enterprise and MSSP plans may include:

  • a minimum term (commonly 12 months),
  • a renewal / non-renewal notice period (commonly 60 days),
  • negotiated entitlements, invoicing, and support/SLA terms.

If your Enterprise/MSSP agreement conflicts with this policy, your signed agreement controls.

6. Plan changes and entitlement changes

If you downgrade or your entitlements change:

  • new scans may be blocked or restricted based on your current plan,
  • queued jobs may be cancelled or adjusted before execution to match current entitlements,
  • already-running jobs may complete to avoid partial or inconsistent results, unless stopping is required for security or legal reasons.

7. One-off Orders (e.g., single scan purchase)

You may request cancellation of a one-off Order only if it has not started execution (queued/not-started). Once execution begins, cancellation may stop further processing but typically does not qualify for a refund (see Refund Policy).

8. How to cancel

You can cancel:

  • via the Billing page in the Netallion console, or
  • by contacting support if you cannot access your account.

9. Billing reminders (best-effort)

Netallion may send renewal reminders for annual plans (for example at ~30 days and ~7 days before renewal). Reminders are a courtesy; you remain responsible for cancelling before the cut-off if you do not wish to renew.

10. Fair use of cancellation terms

Netallion aims to keep cancellation clear and practical and to avoid unfair lock-in mechanics. (In NZ, very lengthy notice periods on indefinite contracts may be considered unfair in some contexts.)
